The Mailbox

I have been thinking (a lot) lately about the mailbox. I know, I know, my life must be very boring if that one little thing is what has been consuming my thoughts so much, but this inner reflection has brought quite a bit of insite to me. This one little box has held MUCH for us throughout the years - such as letters and news from loved ones far and near, birth announcements, wedding announcements, graduation announcements, invitations for fun of all types, packages from all over the world, mission calls and the occasional visiting teaching treat left on that last day of the month!

Yes, we have again found ourselves waiting patiently at our mailbox every day this past week, waiting, waiting and waiting for that one little letter that finally came on Saturday that would culminate 29 years of study, practice and HARD work. A letter from the Western Regional Dental Boards that would contain just ONE word we knew would be there -

****PASSED****

Yes, once again, that little mailbox at the end of the driveway has proved it's great worth. We are so very proud of Brandon and are looking forward to having him examine and work on our own teeth!
P.S. My mailbox is not to be confused with the show of the same name published by the LDS Church in the late 60's that NOBODY wants!
