2012 Cabo Trip

Well, another trip to our beloved Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in Cabo San Lucas is in the books. We had an exceptional time with family and friends this time as well. We knew we were in for an exciting time - despite Kathy receiving a written "warning" for transporting her peppers and zuchini's across the boarder. I, too, almost got arrested by trying to document the event!
Right out of shoot, we found ourselves up at the beautiful sky pool, basking in the warm sun!

In his defense --- Curt was watching a movie on his tablet and it was simply tooooo bright outside to see the screen, so I really took this picture to show how creative Curt is in improvising a solution! Another pool --- another day Here is Ann, yet another pool, another day! I had to snap a picture of these cute little kids, they kept us entertained one day - they were so cute (she is reading her brother a book - it's upside down, but she read it)This is the Pueblo Bonito "Pacifica" resort. We look at it every day - it is an adult only "wellness" resort and we decided to pay it a visit. By the way, this beach/area is where the movie "Troy" was filmed. When Curt and I first visited our resort, the movie set was still up on the beach and every time I look at it --- I see Brad Pitt in my mind!

Here we are in the outer courtyard -

This is the foyer of the PB Pacifica, everything about this stunning resort emits relaxation and meditation

The grounds

Look Steven, a sweat lodge!

Well - almost everything is relaxing but the water aerobic class. We got a kick out of this woman with her zink sunscreen, but I'm sure she was having a relaxing time

Kathy is relaxed -

Here is a look up at our resort from the PB Pacifica - this time we stayed in the unit facing us, up at the very top of the mountain is the sky pool.

Kathy left her mark in the bathroom, she broke the sink! (It was fixed by the end of the day)

As we ventured out to downtown Cabo, we passed through another Pubelo Bonito resort, this time it's the Rosa - I "covered up" the naked statue

We ate dinner at the popular "Office" on the beach

We all agreed Kathy had the winner plate with her sea bass and bacon wrapped shrimp!

Another beautiful sunset -

As we walked back along the beach, we spotted a beautiful dinner setting ready for some lucky couple

another night we made it to Maro's Shrimp House - loved the acknowledgement toMaro's wife for the home made dessert, it was delicious!

We were serenaded (for Peso's of course)

Another beautiful sunset from our deck

Scenes from around the resort - this year we discoved several "sea turtle nests" along the beach

There were poinsettia's planted all around the resort - they were in bloom and beautiful (I seem to use that word alot!)

I never tire of experiencing sunsets

Saying good-bye for another year!
