Happy Anniversary Tim & Marisa

June 6, 2002
Red Butte Gardens

The marriage of our last child, and particularly, our only daughter was a very emotional, yet beautiful event. I still remember the night Marisa came home and told me she had met the man of her dreams - and he had red hair! She told me his name was Tim and "if he calls me, Mom - please be nice to him" (WHAT? I had a problem with being nice to Marisa's friends - help me out here). Well, he did call - and yes I was nice to him (Tim call's it "suspiciously nice"), and shortly afterwards Curt and I did meet "the man of Marisa's dreams" and we liked him instantly! He just fit, they go together - I love this couple, and I love being with them. Marisa is such a sweet woman with a tender heart and a strong capacity to love and let you feel loved, she has been blessed with many talents and creativity. Tim comes from a wonderful family, and a heritage strong in values and hard word (both from the Olson & Paul sides), he is a dutiful son and the older brother everyone wants to have. He LOVES sports but his passion is golf. He provides so Marisa can stay home and raise their girls. As parents, we know both our children "struck gold" in choosing their spouses and we love them dearly. Together Tim and Marisa are a great couple and have grown into a very special family. Here are a few pictures of their beautiful wedding -

The happy couple -

And here they are today - handsome Tim and his beautiful girls!

Happy, Happy Anniversary Tim & Marisa - we wish you many, many, many more!
